Who is Gog and Where is Magog?

who is gog (book)Conventional wisdom has held for sometime that the land of Magog, spoken of in many biblical passages considered “End Times” passages, is located in a geographical area now known as Russia. And, as everyone knows, conventional wisdom is always right, right? Generally speaking, conventional wisdom, when it comes to biblical interpretation, simply means that understanding accepted by the majority of the people; it in no way means that it is truth. With all due respect to the theologians and scholars before him, Dr. Haskell Rycroft has challenged the conventional wisdom regarding the Bible’s Gog and Magog, and has taken great pains to support his challenge. The reader, whether they end up agreeing with his proposition or not, will come away from the reading of this book with great respect for its scholarship.
